Magnetic fields are much more difficult to shield from building occupant spaces as by their nature, ELF AC Magnetic Fields
will penetrate building materials easily and are best avoided through distance.
When this is not an option thick dense materials like lead can produce a reduction in a magnetic field level.
But the best material to use is the lightweight high tech MagField Shielding Metal,
less than 5mm thick it can easily be installed during construction or remodelling,
or after a magnetic field problem has been discovered and needs remedying.
When tested against a 50Hz magnetic field ranging in field strength from 1,000mG to10mG
the MagField shielding metal reduced the field strengths as follows:
